But i know she used to like me not to long ago and for some reason she stopped, i could just tell. When talking to her best friend about it she told me that she doesnt like anyone right now and i believe her because we are very close because we used to date. What should i do?

Well funny enough I have had the same problem, I have been getting on great with this gorgeous girl and it was perfect until I missed an opportunity to make a move. She obviously likes you as her friend is aware of it all which would imply that if her friend has noticed your keen interest remaining for her then I predict that she does too!
She may not be ready for a relationship or to continue a relationship, my advice to you sir is similar to kerry's. Carry on with the eye contact etc! Just act how you have been with her, however hard it will feel (I recently felt terrible putting in so much effort and gaining very little after my mistake), she shall recognize your continued interest and when she becomes more like her self take your move fast!
I made mine and things have improved slightly. Don't let it wind you up like it did me!

 I think all you can do is just be her friend for the moment as she is not looking for anyone at this time. Let her know in a subtle way with light flitatious getures like eye contact ect that you still like her. And one day when she's ready to start dating again ask her out.
