 Either she wasn't ready for the kiss, or didn't think you were actually goin to kiss her or she was being a tease. She wanted you to THINK she wanted to kiss, but in reality didn't.
Maybe, Romeo... You were putting the moves on her a little to fast.

 She prob was teasing you or making you go find a site to ask for advice on girls dude! Ha jk. She's crazy. If she wants you then she shouldn't pull back. If she pulled back, she may be nervous or wasn't ready to kiss.
I met a guy one time and we were at his apartment and he and I had been real flirty every time we were around and he tried to kiss me and I did the same. But I liked him.
And then when I left, he walked me to my car and he leaned in to give me a goodbye hug and I finally puckered up for a kiss and he kissed me on my cheek. I was embarrassed but I guess I deserved it!
