Ok, i have studied the 3 different types of boys, jocks they find bullying funny, these guys are laid back no worries, too cool 4 skool, they talk about girls.
Like 'i fucked her so hard' is the latest, they are basicially bragging steer clear of these guys they use you and lose you. You have general boys, they find funny things funny like Family Guy, we are not laid back at all, ( i am a general boy)we worry about everything, like jocks, girlfriends and work. Get one of theses!
Then there is nerds. just steer clear from them ok

 That's going to vary SO much, humor in particular. Some men love fart jokes, some are fans of quick wit, some like sophisticated jokes, some prefer slapstick, some even love puns. Some flirt very straightforwardly, some are bashful and barely hint they're interested.
The one thing I can say is that boys are every bit as deep as women are, even if they don't show it. No matter how much guys try to act like they don't have deep feelings, they DO. And however bewildered you are about them, they feel the same about you. The one thing men all have in common is that NONE of us understand you.
But I agree with Ginalolabridga that just about every guy likes gadgets of some sort (though not ever guy likes sports).
