boo22 agony auntmy mother says that there's nothing open after 2am except legs. trust your gut feeling because it'll be right. he doesn't seem very good at deceit so it wont be long before you find some more evidence. you need to find out why he's doing this and then take it from there. hope you can work things out x

A reader, anonymous, writes (9 November 2008):

I think you have reason to be concerned. I have been cheated on also, and discovered it through texts from the other woman. When I think back to the several months that he tells me their affair lasted - I can now pinpoint many times my husband went to a work party and had a few too many drinks so needed to 'crash at someones house' for the night!! Things like that - that at the time you take as innocent - because you still trust.

I think you should listen to your gut too - something is going on - those texts you've read are not 'normal'.

You need to gather evidence (like those texts) and confront him. Have a think about what you will do before this - will you leave, will you stay and try and work this out?

I strongly recommend you find someone to talk with, a counsellor or good friend or family member - you will need support IF you do uncover an affair.

I honestly hope you're wrong about your husband.

Take Care.
