writes:how do i know if i am gay/bi? im engaged to be married next year but there is this girl at college i cannot stop thinking about. she'd be more of a supervisor or something i dunno. but i find her really intimidating when she comes near me or anything i just feel really uneasy. she's not the prettiest of girls or anything but i dunno if im picking up on the completely wrong vibes and jumping to conclusions. she'd always go out of her way to say hi to me and im a quite shy girl and i think she knows it either embarrasses me or she knows of what i'm thinking. please help..

reader, anonymous, writes (28 March 2008): she sounds as if : she is trying to intimidate you cos you are shy B: she is just being friendly, to be friends and nothing else or, she does like you and is trying to get a reaction from you, maybe have a conversation with her, try to get to know her a bit, if u end up as friends then that's good, u have a new friend, you will know whether you like her or not when you get to know her a bit.
As for whether u are gay or not, it might be a crush on just her, if she is confident and u are shy, u might just lke this quality in her. Lots of girls have crushes on other grls and dont identify as lesbian. It might be a one off thing. do u find other grls cute? can u imagine being with a girl? only you can decide if u are bi, gay or a straight.
