A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *odaii writes:

Ok well this isnt really relationshippy, but i need help. I'm pernamently dehydrated, and i have some sort of mental block in me that makes me hate to drink. i refuse to drink tap water and am allergic to most juices, and i can only drink from small bottles with sports caps. i find it really challenging to drink from a glass or tumbler, and i cant drink any water thats not room temperature. I dont know what to do, its really tiring trying to force myself to drink all the time, and im getting chapped lips and headaches, and i cant think straight. I also have a chest infection at the moment. I know i hve a problem but my mum just thinks im being finicky, can anyone suggest anything? such as what is wrong with me or what i can do to drink more/easier? thanks you :D xxx

Plexi agony auntGo see a health care professional.

It could just be that your diet is too low in fat ( increase your intake of healthy fats that come from cold water fish, nuts and seeds, avocados. symptoms of EFA( essential fatty acids)deficiency is dry skin, thirst, cold hands/feet.....

Buy yourself a bigger portable water bottle (not plastic as plastic bottles are not good for your health)

get a water filter for your home so you can feel safe drinking from the tap( carbon based filters seem to be best)

GO TO YOUR DOCTOR FOR A CHECK UP AND DIAGNOSIS. WE ARE NOT MEDICAL DOCTORS AND IT WOULD BE IRRESPONSIBLE OF US TO TELL YOU HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

IF YOU ARE DEHYDRATED GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, THAT IS DANGEROUS YOU CAN DIE FROM THAT OR DO DAMAGE TO YOUR INTERNAL ORGANS.
