As a nutritionist you need proper macronutrients (e.g., complex carbs, essetnial fats and high-quality protein) as well as micronutrients (e.g.,vitamins and minerals). But since you just mentioned the micros, here are the big whammies.

Without proper folic acid you can have neural tube defects. You see when the neural tube comes around to form the face (put your hands behind your head and come to your nose) and body, without proper folic acid and B12 there can be a gap in the neural tube (it won't seal properly), which can lead to cleft palate or lip or at its worst spina bifida. Also, I have seen children born with the brain on the outside of the skull.

Without proper calcium the bones will be small and possible induce osteoporosis in you!

If you get too much vitamin A you can develop something called retinoic acid syndrome (usually from synthetic vitamin A aka Accutane--for acne). Children are born with small to no ears and flatten face forehead and small to no brain.

Limitations in magnesium can increase your risk for preelclampsia aka high bloodpressure usually 140/90 mm Hg. I can go on and on!

But honestly, why do that to your unborn child? If you don't want it, abort it. I can honestly say I have had an abortion and it doesn't hurt (physically; emotionally it takes its toll) and some insurances cover it. Mine was 45$ in a doctors office and it took 15 minutes if that. Take care of yourself and hopefully, your child.

Also it is really really important to get lots of folic acid, walmart sells pernatal vitamins for like 4 dollars i took those while i waited to get an apointment at my doctors. You need to eat right because the baby can pretty much pull what it needs from your body like calcium from your bones ect. You want a big fat healthy baby right!

Blue_Angel0316 agony auntYou need to get to a DOCTOR! You will be needing prenatal vitamins and test need to be done to check for certain things that can affect your pregnancy,

Be sure to eat healthy foods and get lost of Calcium and vitamin D. You can find it in foods like milk, cheese, yogurt, and things like brocolli. Eat well and watch your intake of too much sugar and fats. You will gain some weight and the doc can help you keep in a healthy range by monitoring your pregnancy.

Avoid smoking and alochol, get plenty of rest. Go to all of your appointments and take those vitmains. Sometimes naseau is pretty bad during this time. Let you doc know if you have any problems that prevent you from eating and holding down the food. Get exercise daily but limit it. Talk to your doc more about what type of exercise you can do as it can vary with certain conditions or the woman who is pregnant in general.

If you have done drugs consult the doc so they will be aware of any possible complications of carrying the child or of those during childbirth. This can also cause problems for the child after birth. This is also true in case of the Pregnant woman carrying a disease like genetal herpes, AIDS and other virus' or infectons.

Heartburn is sometimes pretty bad. Gavison tablets can block the acid and push the acid back helping to control it. Consult the doc before taking anything!

Diseases like Diabetes can be of concern. Some women who don't even have this can become predisposed to what is called borderline diabetes if they don't eat right and their blood sugar goes up. Keep a chart if you need to so when you go to the doc you can fill him in on any problems you have if any. Call him immediately if you experience any pain in the lower regions of your body(pelvic areas) You want to make sure that you deliver a Healty and Happy Baby.

My best to you and your UNBORN ANGEL and Merry Christmas!

God bless,

Blue_Angel
