Hi Guys,

I'm not being bullied, but my best friend has made friends with this girl in our class, and I like her, and we've been going as a little treesome these past few weeks, it just she seems to think it's funny to get my friend to run off with her, at break, and make me go and find them. I wouldn't normally mind, but she does it whenever she can, with out asking if I'm okay with it, or if i mind. Last week she ran away with her, and i had a nasty blister on my foot and I could barely walk with out wincing, but she still made me chase after her. I told my friend I'm not happy with this, and she's very kind about it and has started not running, but she seems to want to please this girl rather than spend her break with me, and I spose I'm a bit jealous... I was just getting over it when my friend said that shes finding this girl annoying, and I find her extrodinarily slow.

My friend and I are generally the top two in the class, as we were private kids (Fee paying shcools) before we came here, and this girl wasn't.

This girl seems to want to be my friends best friend, but not mine. She never wants to run away with ME and leave my friend behind, And my friend is trying, but she needs friends, and so do I but I wish that this girl would except us TOGETHER instead of trying to spilt us up.

Jelly

PS. The annoying thing is, this girl and my friend have nothing in common, except they're both ginger, and I'm blonde.

pepper27 agony auntHi Sweetheart

It can be very frustrating when your young and someone else comes along and spoils a friendship or trys to hunny..The best thing you can do is have a good talk with your friend and explain how you feel and say you dont mind this girl being your friend but could she your best friend make it so you are all joining in together and they are not running off without you as this makes you feel a little left out love..It maybe that this girl hasnt got any other friends sweetheart so she picked your friend because she was of simular looks this can happen as you mention the hair colour maybe she has been teased before because of it..Just talk with your friend hunny and see if you can get along all together YOU TAKE CARE WITH LOVE N HUGS MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

A reader, anonymous, writes (21 June 2008):

Oh dear, oh dear; this girl sounds like a real little "hick-up" in your good friendship;

she is obviously a little troublemaker and she can notice that she is causing you great frustration;

I think it is very kind of you and your friend to try and accommodate her, but there is limits;

I suggest you and your good friend talk about it first; a then make it clear tothe new girl, that if she wants to be friends with the two of you, she has to abide by your rules( as set up by you and your good friend); or otherwise she must find new friends.

Best of luck!
