Ok, so heres my situation... I'm almost 18 and I'm a virgin. This guy I've been talking to him for quite sometime, and he is absolutely amazing! I feel as if I am ready to take the relationship to the next level, its just that I'm afraid and I need some help. I don't know how to go about the whole sex thing. I mean I've done almost everything except for actualy intercourse. I just want some advice, like does it hurt really bad or anything?

So_Very_Confused agony auntyour talking to him....are you DATING HIM? is it a relationship?

what do you mean your TALKING TO HIM? what does that mean?

(I sometimes don't understand the younger generation's terms that's why I'm asking)

it can hurt if you are nervous or uptight... and that will make you dry and tight... if you are aroused and relaxed you should be well lubricated... if you are not you can use lube like Astroglide or Wet...

Some people do say it hurt the first time but I personally didn't find that so its different for everyone. Just make sure you are 100% ready to take that step and that you are relaxed and turned on (ie wet) enough. I don't really agree that you should have been in a relationship for 6 months, I dont think these things are as clear cut as having a set timescale - what is right for one is not right for another, but I do think you should be in a proper relationship with him for sure and not just 'talking' which it sounds like from your question. Oh and when you're really ready you won't be scared, only excited :)

So you've been seeing this guy? Your not dating? Your not in love? Your ready to have sex with him? Your 18 and a virgin, well good for you. But honestly honey if you haven't known him for a long while and your not in s relationship or in love I don't think you should be thinking about having sex! That's something so amazingly wonderful that you share with whom your in live with and know very well!

And to answer your question... Well duhh! If you don't get wet your vagina can rip, if you do get wet it well still hurt because your a virgin your vagina is really small so when the penus goes in it stretchs and that hurts but after a while you'll love the feeling of it! But ofcourse loosing virginity is a big deal, do it with the right person!

wow, you sound so young with the way you asked the question. Are you sure you're ready? Your first time is overrated, and uncomfortable to say the least. You're better off waiting until you're 100% sure and might I suggest a little older to handle the consequences of being sexually active. Wait in my opinion! Don't give yourself to the first guy you THINK you are ready to take it to the next level with.
