Not to scare you, but you are about the age of my cousin when he found out he had testicular cancer. He went through all of the treatments. He is cured now and married, just had a beautiful baby girl of his own.

When detected early (as it usually is when people get checked when they start feeling pain, instead of postponing for months), testicular cancer is one of the most - if not the most - curable forms of cancer. You have the tumor removed, you do some follow-up testing, and you're fine.
My ex-bf was diagnosed right around the time we started dating - it's five yrs later and he's cancer-free, officially in the clear. It was moderately scary, b/c it's cancer, but honestly, we were just so glad he caught it early.
Make an appt to see your dr immediately. If you can't afford or don't have insurance, etc., find a free clinic in your area (quick web research) and make plans to go, even if it's a hassle. Follow up on this until you get an affirmative diagnosis that you've got nothing to worry about.

Well i am only on speaking terms with my left nut and only because i use him as a poker chip on wagers I am sure of winning. You ever here of somebody betting their left nut?? well that was a trend I started. HOWEVER the only thing and I don't want to scare you, the only thing that I know of that causes sudden onset of pain specific to the boys with no known source of trauma is testicular cancer. It's highly treatable and has a high rate of survival when caught early but you need to have it looked at now. NOW! Make an appointment now for your gp I am not a doctor but this is the only thing I know of that crops up suddenly with great pain like this. There may be hundreds of things else. You need to get the ball rolling(get it!) now because if your GP is sending you to a specialist it could be a week or two before he sees you and another week or two before you get a accurate diagnosis and if god forbid it's that... you don't need to waste any time

It could be an infection or a hernia if it hasn't been caused by trauma to the area. Either way, it's important that you seek out the opinion of a doctor because, well, that's not one of those areas you want to take chances with. In the meantime, if you have any other or more specific symptoms, it might give you some peace of mind to look up possibilities on the internet like emedicinehealth.com or webmd.com.Good luck-Jmo

Any time your testicles hurt, you should go to the doctor. Don't waste any time getting their either! The testicles are not something that should be in any kind of pain, so please get into the doctor a.s.a.p!!
Don't be embarrassed, it is a doctor's profession to help. They've seen it all before, so there's absolutely no shame in making sure you're healthy.
Good luck, sweetness!
