when i said last night im talking about 9 hours before i posted this question, the burning sensation hurts less and is less frequent but still not the same as before sex, ill give it a day or two and see how it goes, if it still burns ill see a doctor, i really didnt want to see a doctor because i have no insurance and i really dont wanna pay just for them to tell me the same stuff you guys are telling me, there are no bumps, no discharge, no red or swollen areas on my penis so i hope im alright

Go to the doctor but it sound like she might have had a yeast infect and passed it on to you. I dont know what they call a yeast infection for a guy but what you are discribing sounds like how i felt when I got mine. You aren't going to die or never be the same just go to the doctor and you will be fine.

Uncle Sneaker agony auntI must correct the first anonymous reply.

Genital herpes does NOT normally produce symptoms within 48 hours. Its incubation period varies from two days to two weeks, but may not display symptoms until very much later.

That's a fact, not an opinion.

Many sexually transmitted diseases, including genital herpes, will be undetectable for at least a few days. If there are no other symptoms and it's not getting worse, there's absolutely no point in getting tested just yet. Wait a few days.

Unfortunately, genital herpes does show up within the first 48 hours after unprotected sex. You need to go see your doctor, especially if you have any itching or if any kind of a bump appears. NO UNPROTECTED SEX.....OKAY?

A male reader, Uncle Sneaker United Kingdom +, writes (1 July 2008):

Uncle Sneaker agony auntThe good news is that it's highly unlikely to be any sort of sexually transmitted infection from sex last night. It would be extremely unusual for any symptoms to appear in less than 48 hours at the minimum.

If it doesn't stop within a day or so, or it gets worse, then you will need to go to a doctor.

It could be something as daft as her having eaten a hot curry a few hours previously! and that's caused an irritation - although that sort of irritation would be much more likely if she had done oral sex to you.

So wait a couple of days (as I said, unless it gets worse) and see if it goes. And don't be so silly in future. Unprotected sex is always a risk. It wouldn't be a bad idea to go get yourself tested properly now anyway, you might have picked up all sorts of nasties.
