writes: hi i am 17 years old i am in love with a older guy he is 30 and a really good friend of mine.We get on really well and he is always there for me and ready to make me laugh when i am down.i know we would be perfect together but there is one problem i found out today he has got engaged to his girfriend of just four months.i am distraught and i dont know how to act around him either i see him everyday please help!

 He doesn't see you the same way you see him. Since he's your friend, just act like a friend around him and accept he's unavailable

 Sounds like he only thinks of you as a friend. I guess your best bet is to just accept that and try to relax and be friendly around him. In time you may actually just feel friendship for him.

 Your just going to have to forget about him, i know its going to be hard but you dont want to do anything that could put his future marrige in jeprody. Think if you were on the receiving end? How would you feel if someone was after your man?
As for acting around him try not to be any differant than you already are he will get curious as to what has changed.
Try to find something that will take your mind off him.
