sorry to say . but your mother is holding you back. i hate it . my dad is like the same way.. Like they hold a gurdge against us. really annoyin and not a positive thing at all ! Ugh! good luck hope it works out.

 Ask your Mom if she will come into the school and discuss it with your guidance counselor. Or, ask your guidance counselor to write a note to your Mother explaining that it would be best, or asking to talk to her personally. Good luck!

Talk to your guidance counselor and see what he or she thinks about you taking the test. If they recommend it, I'm sure your Mom will jump on board. The PSAT is a really good opportunity for practice! Good luck!
