welshgirl88 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionhes only just started goin out wiv her today.. but early hours sunday mornin he was texting me sayin he loves me! not sure if hes saying it as a friend. and im too shy to confront him about it!
and the worst thing is that he used to go out with a friend of mine which is how we started being mates. and thats what makes it worse.
im in a really awkward position arent i!

 Well its obvious he has feelings for you, who knows to what extent, but i suggest you confront him and find out. No matter what the outcome, you should tell him how you feel about him and that by him calling and msging with confessions of love is just not on. Firstly because he has a partner and should be drunkenly calling her, and secondly because its weighing on you and your emotions. Be firm with him, if its friendship he wants then its no more drunken calls, if he feels something more, that you can work out face to face (hopefully remembering there are other hearts on the line).
