Dear Cupid

There is this guy at work which I totally adore, and I have the biggest crush ever on him. He is everything that I look for in a guy! My question is that my heart has been broken once too many and i'm so scared to let him in, am I drivng him away?

How do I know if he is interested at all? he only sends me messages when I send him a message, we have had dinner and lunch dates but nothing has come of it yet.

Do I make a nuinsince of myself going over to his flat and wanting to spend time with him? Or do I just forever sulk in my misery and accept I will never find another guy again?

Please anyone who can help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frome

loveless and in pain!

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (19 January 2010):

You need to talk to this guy. You will drive him away if you don't let him it. but if you talk to him and tell him that you've been hurt before and want to take things slow, he will at least understand that. Take your time getting to know him, tell him you really like him, but tell him that you just need time. If he's a good guy, he'll understand.
