My guy tries to make me jealous and bullies me too. How do others handle a situation like this?

Question - (10 May 2014) 2 Answers - (Newest, 10 May 2014)
A female Ireland age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My husband is a bully and has deliberately been trying to make me feel jealous of him, but that has just put me right off him.

I cringe when he comes near me now.

If someone tries to make me jealous to pay them more attention it has the opposite effect with me and then I dont want to be with them anymore at all.

Is anyone else like this?

A female reader, cattycakes United Kingdom +, writes (10 May 2014):

Of course, everyone is. Whoever told him how to keep his wife, lied. He will lose you if he doesn't stop. Who wants to get close to a person that seems to want to put them down, make them unsure or unhappy? I suppose he needs to be told, but often the behaviour is so ingrained that they can not change.

A reader, anonymous, writes (10 May 2014):

Why does you husband want to make you jealous? What does he do? Sounds like he's desperate for attention.

If he bullies you, don't you think it's time to get a divorce?

How can you remain married to someone that makes you "cringe?"

Others that I've know would divorce such a spouse. I personally do not tolerate bullying under any circumstances.

I would leave him in a skinny-minute!
