I was texting my really nice guy friend a few nights ago and we were being random and hyper and i texted him i love you!!!!! but i thought he knew i was kidding. well a few minutes later, i get a text saying i love u 2 and when i asked he said he was completely serious and had liked me for a few years now. What do i do???

Hey I think you should figure out your feelings for him. Figure out if you really love him, and if you just love him as a friend tell him. But let him down easy because he'll be pretty upset. Just tell him you just love him a's a friend and want to keep it that way.But if you find that you might like to try a relationship then tell him face to face. GOOD LUCK!!!

If you don't fancy him, talk to him face to face (anything else would be a little cruel) and let him down gently. Say that he's a great friend but that you're not interested in him 'that way'. Hopefully he'll be able to take it. Just don't joke like that with him again, or he'll end up confused. Be gentle and lots of luck.
