My friend has no self esteem, others jibe but he takes it to heart, I want to make sure he doesnt get depressed over it!

my friends like to tease him alot, because hes an easy target, but no one actiualy trys to be mean! we all tease each other alot! and some of it gets mean, but hes the only one to takes it like super seriously!

he always puts him self down! he calls him self fat all the time (sure hes a little fat, but it just uses that to like make himself feel worse or sumthing idk) we always tell himt o just like diss us back, but he says he cant! he seems super depressed and stuff

a few of my friends says he just wants my attention (he kinda likes me), but i dont wanna give him the attention that he wants! idk y but me and my friend kaia dont even want to give him a hug! normaly we would basicly hug any guy, but right now we dont wanna hug him!

he always puts him self down because girls dont like him! but its because hes always like "i suck, im fat, i hate my self" no one likes that! but im getting nervous cusae he seems really messed up! and no one knows wut to do about it!

pls help!!! i dont want his depression type thing to go too far!!!!!

I think you and your friends need to knock it off and grow up. It is mean to pick on someone because of the way they look. You also need to understand that depression is a serious illness and is nothing to be taken lightly. I think he needs to find a better class of friends and ditch his current "friends". I wish him well and hope this helps you look at how ugly your attitude is toward your "friend".

P.S. The kid wouldn't need any enemys if he kept friends like you.
