writes: I just turned 18 on monday 6th november and i just met a girl at a gig on Friday who looked like she was at least 17 only to find out she is 15 (16 in janurary) seem to get along fine and everything got her number and stuff, i really like her personality, attractive and amazing voice :) my only concern is the age gap. should i really be bothered? after all shes only 2 years and 2 months younger. Im the type of guy who doesnt want to lead her on unless im sure therfore i dont want to contact her til i am. Should i be botherd bout the age gap at all? i dont usualy go for girls who are beyond the 1 year gap u see. HELP! :S Reply to this Question

i don't think that you should be very bothered about the gap if she turns 16 in january then i think that you should be ok as long as you don't go as far as sex until she turns 16 or until she is really ready for it. just call her and let what happens happen.

reader, anonymous, writes (12 November 2006): dont mind that anon reader.. im 15.. i look about 19.. im relevently attractive and yes, at gigs guys show a lot of interest.. ive been with older guys, and age has not been a problem. im seeing a guy whos 19 in june, and im 16 in late febuary. nobody sees it as a problem.. theres a little rule i used to go by, half your age plus 6 years... so that would mean its pretty acceptable to get with her.
I really dont see the peoblem, two years is not a big deal at all. and if you like her, then take it from me-go for it.. it might be a big mistake if you dont. Age is just a number. as was said previous....good luck .. make the right choice:)
