A female United States age , anonymous writes:

i have been dating this guy for almost 3 yrs. even though we broke for a short time. we are back together and dating exclusively. he has a sister-in-law that is trying to get him as a bf. her son and my boyfriend's daughter are pushing this too.

She called and asked him to stop by on his way out of town last weekend, to have a glass of water, get rid of some water or whatever his need be and just maybe she would prepare some lunch for him. he did not go by there because unbeknowing to her i was with him. he said that if i had not been with him he would have called and asked her to meet him at a resturant to eat lunch.

her son has called my bf 5 times and asked him to go hiking with him in a few weeks. they will be staying at her house.

she is in a bad marriage for all i know they may already be divorced. i think that she did not know if my bf would even date someone up to the point of him dating me. this is why i belive that she did not go after him before now.

tell me how i can best deal with this. they all live out of town except my bf and me. thanks

This is a problem for your bf to handle. Just keep an eye open to see what happens and you'll find out how good a bf he really is.
