The fact that he hasn't listened when he said it bothered you shows me that it is something more than a friend.
If it was a mate then he wouldn't be talking to her and testing her all the time.
He doesn't care about your feelings and you shouldn't be with someone who doesn't show you any respect.
Get rid of him.

reader, anonymous, writes (17 September 2008): well if u toll him that that bothers u and he keeps on doing it while it sounds like something is going on. well if text when u guys hang out ask him to show u what his writeing and if he dosent then that means theres something he going out with that girl and ask him what will he feel if u were texting a guy while u guys were hanging out that usually gets em well i hope i was a help to u ok good luck

 Guys can have friends who are girls and girls can have friends who are guys and this continues on even if they are in a relationship. I think you should just play it cool for now and don't overreact too much but you should talk to him about how he doesn't listen to you and explain to you why he keeps texting this girl. Maybe he's really just good friends with her. Now, I'm not saying he's in the right, regardless he still should explain to you why he keeps talking to this girl if it truly bothers you. Good luck with that problem.
