 Tell him that if he wants you to only see out of one eye it would be a lot less hassle to spend $2 on an eye-patch. Seriously, do what you want. You're not in a relationship just to have someone treat you like a barbie doll.

 Its not about hiding your face
Its about the style he finds sexy.
Some like fringes, some like it long down the back, some like it marge simpson style.
If you want to do it that way, do it as he has already said he likes it

 Do you have to do everything your boyfriend tells you? I don't think so. Being sexy at the right times is one thing, wearing your hair over your face all the time isn't wise to me, especially if your eyes are covered. Besides, unless you wash it every day, the oils will exaserbate your facial skin and could cause acne.

It's not an insult that he doesnt want to see your face or anything like that, he just finds it sexy and wants your hair like that. I'm sure he doesn't mean anything by it! :]

If it is not quite how you like to wear your hair, they perhaps you just can wear it the way he likes it on those occasions when you want him to give you some attention!
He thinks it's sexy - what more is there to say!
