A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *glo writes:

hey, ive been with my bf for nearly 2 years, hes been distancing himself a lot lately, but hes always been quite a distant person. I texed him to ask him what was going on and bluntly asked him if he still wanted to be with me and he replied 'im just not sure at the moment.. i just dont know what i want.. i havent been myself lately..xx' this all came out of nowhere and i would appreciate any opinions on what this means. The next day i found out that my so called friend had been texting him for a few weeks.. however shes a bit of a bedhopper and i dont get why hes gone to her for advice. i just really dont know what to do.. he has been online in the past few days but hasnt changed his relationship status and appears to be really normal...i would be grateful for any advice on this situation. how long am i meant to wait. Thanks

A male reader, Kenj United Kingdom +, writes (10 August 2010):

Kenj agony auntSimply he has either met some else or hes going off you.

Or he may have had a one night stand and now doesnt know how to tell you.

You should try a break up and give him and you time to think.

Communication is key to a lasting relationship without it it can be very one sided.
