Plus I have a modeling contact and the agency that im with says I to be need 80 pounds so I fit into they clothes (Im about 100, im 18). My boyfriend is threatening to tell my parents if I don't start to gain weight. Should I listen to him?

VictoriaK agony auntWHAT?!? What kind of modeling agency is that? They tell you that you need to LOSE weight! You weigh only 100 pounds. even if you were only 5'0'' thats still a bit UNDER weight if anything. With most modeling agencies they look at the face and body, not just the body. and who the hell is 18 and can fit into clothes meant for little girls? 80 pounds a normal for 10-12 year old girl depending on bone structure of course. As for your bf, if I was him I would have told your parents right away. If you have an eating disorder then you need to talk to someone that you trust about it. If you ever need to talk to someone that's been in your shoes then feel free to message me. Good Luck, and Best Wishes.

You might not be far gone now, but continue sticking your fingers down your throat deliberately and the chances that you end up with an eating disorder suddenly sky-rocket.

Yes you should listen to him. Clearly he onyl wants you to be healthy.

This 'modelling' agency on the other hand has no business asking you to be so skinny. You are thin enough as it is.

If you feel pressured into being a stick figure, then I would seceretly record any calls or any meetings in which they suggest these things and then use it to sue them in court.

I think you have an eating disorder that is caused less by poor self esteem and more by the job you have. I think that what you need to do is leave that job and get a job that lets you be at a healthy weight. Maybe try modeling for another country that has weight minimums instead of max.I think your boyfriend has every right to be worried and deep down i think that your parents know something isn't right.
