I get what your going through. All the guys in my school liked my best friend and no liked me, but when I found out that she liked my crush I was sad but I knew that it was stupid for both of us to go after so we didn't. In this kind of situation all u can do is both drop this guy because no friendship should be ruined over a guy. Sisters over misters!!!!

The sad part it that the girl who hasnt had a bf in a year has known him longest and she told my other friend "oh shes so pretty and gets all the guys, i dont want him to hug her or else he'll ask her out." that was a direct quote my friend told me and i feel terrible. hes the first guy ive actually liked in the last month so i really want him but my friends come first. put ur girl before your boy. no boy is worth a friendship and lifes not over if you dont get him

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you too! My best friend doesn't know that I like him.. My crush broke up with his girlfriend yesterday and my best friend took the chance and asked him to be her boy.. This happened with me and my best friend a few times, and will no doubt happen to you a few more times too. The best thing to do is tell her and to agree that neither of you will have him. Then you can gossip about how cute he is together! This is what me and my friend did and we had so much fun. Girlfriends always come before guys.
I'm sure your best friend will understand that you like him, after all she does! And best friends are supposed to support each other and should be able to tell each other anything. You sound like a good friend and I'm sure you'll be fine.
