Just so you know. Decreasing your amount of masurbation will usually make a girl happier if you are in a relationship with her. Most understand that it is natural, but it can really make a girl feel insecure if you masturbate instead of trying for her.

Hi--I don't know your history, but my boyfriend (he is 38) has had this problem. He was molested at 11, and has an addiction to porn and masturbation. Stress and depression are involved as well. What you describe is the addiction cycle--stress, then the fix, then depression and isolation.

If you think this might be your situation (abuse, or not) there is an organization that you can contact--Sexaholics Anonymous. It provides the support of others who have the same issues. Its hard to go the first time, but if you seek this out now, then by the time you are his age, you will have a whole new path in your life.............they have a website.

All the best to you

angelblueeyes agony auntHi,

What makes you say that masturbation is really bad? it is a perfectly natural thing to do.

You CAN control it, and you CAN leave the house without doing it. Masturbation isn't addictive in and of itself, you've just established a pattern of behaviour you're attached to.

Orgasm/arousal have chemical effects on your body which is a large part of why we like them so much. The good thing is that they can be duplicated by nonsexual activity.

Try swapping your next masturbation session with exercise instead. Your body will release similar hormones and you'll feel just as good, if not better.
