well remember they are teenagers, if u ever "think" that you she forgot about u and not replying ur message, giv her time. dont bombard her with messages.. she'll find u annoying and think ur clingy, that's what i did and now i havn't talked to her for a week already. i'm so sosos painful.
And also, giv them plenty of time, when u think dating someone younger is a problem so wil they think that way.

 I have young recruits that are in their late teens and although they can look very nice when out of uniform and dressed up they still act like little girls, it scares me that these girls can actually get sent to Iraq and Afghanistan, so in my opinion NO I couldn't date an 18 year old, I would feel very creepy!
When I was a few years younger (20-25) I would say no more than 4 years younger than me. I found that meant the girls I dated where at the maturity I liked.

Well, it would help she is finished with school at least. Cause no guy wants to be chased by daddy and his double barrel. Other than that, if she is mature for her age, and doesn't pretend to be worldly, emphasis on pretend, then I don't see any problem. The bigger the age gap though, the bigger the odds of failure...
