For me, intelligence and conversation. I think you'll find there is not much of a "universal" for men. You'll find women most men will agree are hot, but as for a universal, I don't think it exists.

Confidence. If you can sit with a woman and have an interesting conversation, and she comes across as confident, then a man will start to be interested. I always like a woman who's confident, and I suspect most other guys would agree with that.
