I slept with this boy over a month ago and we didn't use protection (i know it was stupid and don't really need a lecture), i was over two weeks late on my period which never happens and now i've been on for two weeks! I'm never late and i'm never on for more than 5days, what's going on?

Tisha-1 agony auntHi, Uncle Sneaker has given you the best advice and the best support any auntie here can do for you! He's very right about your needing to see the doctor. I know you're probably afraid of the big lecture and being made to feel foolish there, but that's nothing next to the medical concerns you have... Please do go see your doctor right away, so your mind can be eased, and you have the best medical advice that you deserve!!!

Doctors are there to help people, not judge them!!!

Uncle Sneaker agony auntOK.

If you've already considered that possibility then I won't try to avoid it.

Yes, I think that's the most likely scenario from what you describe but I could be wrong, and going to have a chat with the doctor really is important whether or not that's what it is.

An early miscarriage, if that's what it is, is quite common. It's your body's way of saying that something has gone wrong, that the pregnancy isn't working for some reason or other, and putting it right quickly before it develops. My wife had several of these and I know it can be upsetting even at this early stage. Just remember that it was for the best, because a later problem would have been far more traumatic.

Go to the doctor.

Uncle Sneaker agony auntI think you should go to the doctor. You need to be checked over, but I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'm fairly sure I know what has happened but it would be unfair to make guesses without a proper medical opinion.

Don't worry. You'll be fine. Just go and have a chat with the doctor.
