Hi,

3 and a half years ago I fell in love with this amazing girl, see ment the world to me but there was a big age differance at the time :( she was 13 I was 21, we was only friends and I didn't know I loved her until I lost contact with her (her dad got the wrong idea and stopped her from seeing me)

on Friday she texted me for the 1st time in 3 and a half years and I told her I loved her and to my supprise she told me she loved me too and had never stopped truely loving me... I was blown away because I had no idea of her feelings.

We met up Sunday and our love came rushing back, it was unbelievable, like a dream come true :') she told me I was her 1st and only true love and I told her it was the same for me.

We have both been in relationships since loosing contact with other people because we both thought we would never see each other again but deep down them relationships for both of us were nothing like as loving and as caring as our feelings for each other.

My question is do you think your first love is the strongest love and could that love last forever?

I don't know what to say! i cannot judge but what i would say you are now almost 25 and she is 16 she has 2 more yrs to go! until shes 18 and if you truly love each other it wont go away i would be friends through out until then. if she has strict parents they can make it hard on you 2 and rightfully so. i was 16 when i got married and my at the time was 21 his parents didn't approve well his mother didn't! and she never did. but to make a long story short we stayed married for 10 yrs had a beautiful daughter! he has since remarried and i am w/ someone now of 9 yrs and will be for the rest of my life! so take your time get to know one another talk w/ each others parents i know it's touchy but you don't want them to be in the dark? and make sure you do not have sex yet because they wont get you for rape just saying because i don't know what kind of parents she has??? when i was 16 people thought i was 21 i grew up fast and had 6 other sisters, i was the baby my parents divorced when i was at an early age so my father had a hard time taking care of us! bless his heart. and my boyfriend at the time was in the army so my father knew he loved me and would take care of me thats the only diffence between us and you all just do the right thing it has to be.

Tisha-1 agony auntFor some people, their first love is the strongest love, and for many of those, it lasts a lifetime. For others, their real and strongest love takes longer to arrive, and that's the one that lasts a lifetime.

It sounds like you two have very strong feelings for each other, which is wonderful! Just remember that she's still young, and frankly, so are you. As long as you both remember that you still have some growing up to do, there's no reason that this couldn't be a permanent relationship.
