A male reader, anonymous, writes (26 January 2010):

Depends how you said it...

If you said firmly, "STOP" and tried to stop him physically (e.g. push his hand/arm away, close your legs, try to distance yourself from him, then YES.

If you said "stop" meekly, and did not try any of the above, and let him keep fingering you, then probably not.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (25 January 2010):

Did you agree to the fingering in the first place? And after you said stop, did he stop after a while or not stop at all?

If you said stop he should have stopped, anything past that could account as sexual assault. But if you told him yes at first he could have not understood that you meant no later on. Did you fight him? Or did you just mumble stop and he didnt hear you? Too little information. And also, not much to do about it if you agreed to it happening in the first place as it will be word against word. Sorry.

Blod agony auntYes. It'd be classed as assault for sure and I'd imagine sexual assault. Being forced to do anything sexual can be considered abusive.
