A female reader, NoSoulButWords United States +, writes (5 April 2008):

As soon as a man becomes aroused there is something called pre-cum that has a very high sperm count, but you may recognize it as his "natural lube" any liquid at all that comes out. There are several reliable birth control methods out there, pulling out is not one of them. You have the highest chance of getting pregnant during your fertile period, but it really can happen any time. It is often considered best to mix two methods (only one hormonal) incase one fails, such as pill and condom, pill and spermicide foam, condom and foam etc.

Be careful and good luck.

Laura1318 agony auntNo contraceptives is 100% safe and the withdrawal method is not safe at all.

You may get pregnant from this method.

There is still the risk of getting pregnant during your most fertile periods.

You know what they call people who use the rhythm method, or the withdrawal method? Mommy and Daddy. Use birth control.

No it is not. The chance you will get pregnant from only doing it one time is rare but could still happen. Hopefully you learned from this. If you are not pregnant then you need to get a type of birth control. If you are there are tons of free clinics that can inform you about these things and help you figure out you options. Hope this helps ya!!!!

My girl and I use the pull out method and and birth control... However we know it's still not the best idea and we have days where we just feel nervous because of it. We have started finishing each other off orally and believe we can use condoms now and still have the same incredible experience. No condoms orally though thats just no fun : P

A female reader, Jmo United States +, writes (4 April 2008):

Jmo agony auntWhile the withdraw method does decrease the likelihood of you becoming pregnant, it it still not safe. Pre-ejaculatory fluids contain sperm and even if he pulls out before ejaculation, there is still a chance of being inseminated by the "pre cum".

Jamer70 agony auntyou cannot be 30-35 as no adult would think the withdrawal method is safe. Regardless of your age, its a stupid method. Either go on the pill and/or use a condom

No. Absolutely not. Use the pill AND a condom in order to avoid pregnancy and STDs.
