Is it normal for a guy to want a body like a FEMALE celebrity?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Me and my boyfriend were watching an old James Bond film recently - one that had Rosamund Pike in (well, Die Another Day actually!)

I commented on how hot Pierce Brosnan was, and my boyfriend agreed, which I found unusual.

However, it was when he saw Rosamund Pike's body, he said to me "I wish I had a body like hers!"

Now I worry about the state of his mental health, what's up with him?

He could have meant this in two ways, and it would be a very good idea for you to ask him about it. Maybe he means he wants her body, as in, he finds Rosamund Pike incredibly hot.

Or maybe he meant it in the other sense. If he is a tranny, it's almost certain that he has female idols whose appearance he appreciates in the sense of dying to look like they do (this may be hard to understand, and would take me a long time to explain! If his bedroom is adorned with images of Madonna or Blondie, your suspicions may be well-founded)

If so, it's no reflection whatsoever on his mental health, it certainly doesn't mean that he seriously wants a real-life sex change, and it doesn't mean he's gay. Some trannies are straight, some bi, some as rampantly gay as it gets. Him mentioning how hot Pierce Brosnan is...that points towards the latter possibility, it has to be said.

Since it's clearly on your mind, I think you should definitely ask him what he meant, and if the relationship is generally good, keep an open mind if he does turn out to have gender-bending desires.

Best of luck! xx

Not usually, unless he's planning to undergo a sex change!

LazyGuy agony auntSeems you and the two people who responded so far interpret what he says differently.

You think he meant he his body to be like hers, the other two seem to think he meant he wanted her body for sex.

You know him, why did you think he meant what you think he meant? Are there other hints he might leans towards being a transsexual?

Danielepew agony auntI still remember Rosamund Pike from that movie :-), so I understand his feelings. I believe that he was sort of getting even with you. You "showed your appreciation" for Pierce Brosnan and he did the same for Rosamund, only in a way you could NOT say he was doing that, even if you knew that was exactly what he was doing.

Don't pay attention to this. He just got a little jealous.
