writes:Hey everyone!I fell for a 5 year younger guy at work (he's not my direct subordinate, but he works in the same department). Last summer we went out once and kissed/made out (after I said 'what are you waiting for' after he'd been staring at me for 10 mins on the couch). Afterwards he said he was sorry it happened so soon.He had to leave work for school for 6 months, during which he sent me several messages on Facebook.Fast forward 6 months. He's back at work and contacted me again after I'd tried to avoid him.We ended up chatting and texting for hours almost every night, which culminated in him coming over to my house to give me his old speakerset. We went out for drinks (he paid and lent me his jacket) and ended up on the couch at home, again. We didn't kiss but when he exited, he stroked my lower back and said it was fun, lets do it again soon. He texted me the same night to let me know he shouldve stayed longer.I told him the first time I wasn't over my ex yet and unfortunately I did mention my ex during his visit a couple of times.Heading my girlfriends' advice, I now asked him out for dinner because I felt guilty he gave me his (fancy) used speakers for free. He said sounds like fun, lets do it. So I asked him today if he could make it this week and he hasn't replied yet (6 hours later, in the evening). Is he not interested after all?I have done the not-replying thing before when i wasnt interested in someone.

thanks for the feedback. ive thought about that, but we only kissed. i probably shouldnt have added making out to the list.
so i have no worries in that department.
we talked yesterday and the guy just doenst want to get too close because we'll have to work in the same department for the next 3 years. but he does like me. so its all good and ill try to move on.
