Infatuation with a stranger.

Question - (4 June 2012) 3 Answers - (Newest, 4 June 2012)
A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I suppose we can call this infatuation but I'm distraught over why I am.

Last month I met someone who spent the whole late hours of the night to 8 am in the morning with me simply talking. Yes I did kiss him. I gave him my Skype reluctantly and he actually thought he was never going to see me again until we've started skyping. Then I suggested "Hey, let's not meet in reality if ever." on a Facebook conversation. Never got a reply and I'm calmly freaking out because I'll probably see him again when I return.

I naturally thought it was because I may have seemed like I was playing a game with him and he got tired. Yet, I still have these vivid memories and it's either I am so lonely or actually infatuated with, practically, a stranger. In the end I just want to know what went wrong.

So tell me, would you ever reply to me if I said that? or any theories?

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

I've just sent messages of apology and awaiting a reply if one is ever to come.

However, thank you for answering. I may have came off as a very indecisive person and though that is true, I really did have an interest in communicating specifically online. Maybe he didn't understand that instead of meeting in reality, I'd just like to talk virtually. Maybe if he did, it still wouldn't make a difference.

I don't really understand what you meant when you said that to him and what you expect to happen next? All I know is if someone told me they don't want to meet up again I'd take that as a sign they didn't want to be friends with me anymore and I sure wouldn't contact them again.
