Funny thing is i have never ever been like this with any of my past relationships, not even after being with my son's dad for seven years, so why him?

 Maybe this is more infatuation than love as such. I'm in a similar situation, although not as long as a year.
Everyone tells me to move on, but i just can't do it, it's weird. My advice would just be to try and keep busy, the more you can function without him, the better you'll feel.
