writes:I'm in this band for about a month now and I've grown very fond of my bandmates, especially our female lead guitarist. Just yesterday I found out that my friend who is the rhythm guitarist asked her out and now they are dating. It pisses me off because he's one of my best friends and I've had a slight crush on the lead guitarist for a little bit now, and now that this happened my feelings for her got stronger and I'm starting to get really angry with the rhythm guitarist. It's not like he knew I had a crush on her and did it on purpose, but it's just so messed up. Basically it's a "my best friend is dating my crush, what do I do" story.

 You snooze, you lose. That's life. Don't take it out on your friend though, he didn't know you had a crush on her. Just try to minimize contact and focus your attention on someone else if you can.
