I'm worried that my friends will humiliate me the next day if she rejects my invitation, so what should I do?

A male Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Ok, the situation is, i'm going to ask out a girl on Thursday, the last day before Christmas break, for two weeks. Ok, so that was my plan.

Cause there's not a good chance that she'll say yes, as a matter of fact I haven't the faintest idea what she's gonna say.

Its like a 50:50 right now. So, anyway, I came home today, and I went on facebook to check something and I noticed she might not be there on Thursday, at the time i was going to ask her out.

I definitely can't wait till after the break. And i'm afraid of asking her out tomorrow, because if she says no, it'll be humiliating the next day, both mine and her friends are like that.

If I get a no on thursday, at least 2 weeks will pass and it'll be ok. So what do I do, I need some advice.

Reebe agony auntwell we've all been here, if you like this girl, get her on her own and ask her, the worst that can happen is she says no, and you might get some teasing for a few days, but they'll soon move on when something else happens.

Every guy goes through this and it's a normal part of being a teenager and in a couple of weeks one of your friends might be going through the same thing.

If she says no at least you know you tried, just shrug it off with a smile, and you never know she might say YES!

Good Luck!
