AnnalovesJrock agony auntI had the same problem before, it turns out its BV a abnormal discharge that can also occur even ur a virgin. Its an abnormal growth of GOOd bacteria inside us. You can Google it and read more about it then you can ask you doctor. When you make an appointment all you gotta to say if I'm having an abnormal discharge. Nothing to be ashamed of being concern about your heath sweetie. =)

BigSis agony auntHiya Chelsea,

Listen darlin, don't panic, you said you're still a virgin, so there's really nothing to be overly concerned about, however, two years does seem a bit too long to be having this problem. So for peace of mind ~ and so you don't have to be sitting around thinking this will go on for another couple of years, then you will have to make that appointment.

You're shy, I know, none of like our bits being on display like that, so ask to see a nurse, that's if your surgery has one, which is very likely. You're not the first and you certainly wont be the last. They see girls and women everyday of their career, and to them you are just another patient, just close your eyes and let them get on with it, or start up a conversation, it takes the edge of that nervousness.

I went last week, and chatted away about my holiday, before I knew it, it was all over.

If you do end up seeing a male doctor, then there will be a nurse present or a female member of the practice, it's policy now that male doctor's are chaperoned.

I hope you get your problem sorted.

Love BigSis

xXx

A female reader, Artistry United States +, writes (18 August 2008):

Artistry agony auntHi there, Females have certain discharges that are normal. But if it is discolored, or has too strong an ordor, then there may be a problem. We do have healthy yeast in our systems. I would want to make sure that it is nothing to be concerned about, and I would therefore go to the doctor. Try to see if your mother can find a good woman gynecologist so that you won't be so shy, they are professional, and you will be a patient, with the doctor only concerned about your health, not what your private parts look like. You are a female, and as you get older, you should have a pap smear done ever so often for preventive measures. This is the beauty of being born a girl, think of it as preventive maintenance, much like having your car inspected for problems. Only this is more important than your car, this is your body and this is your life. Take care of you, you are the only you, that you have. Be good to yourself. Please stay in touch. Good luck.

A reader, anonymous, writes (18 August 2008):

its probably quite normal, dont worry about it, every girl gets it for a while before they get their period and some get it afterwards, if it smells or causes you any pain, then tell your mum, who will take you to the doctor dont worry if its not though its all normal =)
