writes:I'm 17, I don't want a baby yet but I just want to ask a question.I've always worried that when I decide to start a family with my boyfriend [in about 7 years or something] that I won't be able to have children. I don't know why I worry so much it's because I don't feel I deserve to have my boyfriends, babies or to have a baby of my own.But when I was 16 I had a really dark period so my doctor asked me to have a smear test done to make sure there was no STD's etc. Obviously I didn't have any because me and my boyfriend have only ever slept with each other. Whilst having it done I asked the doctor could she make sure I was fertile enough [we weren't trying then I've just always been worried about it].She said she wouldn't do any tests because I didn't really need any, from being so young. But she did say internally everything looked fine - Could this mean that I will probably conceive naturally and a good sign to be fertile?Sorry if I seem stupid.

I'm only 18 myself, and even I sometimes worry if i'm able to have children or not in the future.
But from what you've said in your question, i wouldn't worry about it hun.
Your doctor said everything looks fine, so i presume that you will concieve perfectly naturally.
Try not to think about the negative sides of getting pregnant.
Your still young yet, i'm sure you'll have a lovely baby one day.

 Hi. you should not be worried if there are no sign. If it is bothering you, you should make an appointment with a gynacologist and then you would be at ease once you know for sure.Take care

 You are worrying unnecessarily. There is no basis for it and your own doctor said everything looks fine. Relax and enjoy these next years.
