writes:I've been dating my bf for about 9 months and I'm getting braces soon, I wonder if they will make him fall out of love with me after I get my braces on?He is in a different grade level he will be going to college in a year. I fear that he will go behind my back once his in college and start liking other girls since I will have braces and I won't look as pretty as I did when he first met me.What should I do or react?

 If he truly loves you, then he will still love you. I know that we're all insecure about losing someone we love... but there are much worse things than getting braces. If he fell out of love with you because you got braces, then he is not only shallow, he was never in love with you in the first place.One of my professors used to have braces on his teeth. Names? I won't say here. He was so hot though, a hot Mexican (lots of Mexicans are hot, braces or no braces). Sadly he wasn't available to me...

So don't worry. If he really likes you he won't care if you have braces or not. I have braces to. My boyfriend doesn't seem to mind. Remember if he really likes you he won't care either. If he does care a good boyfriend wouldn't care about a little change like that. And just think how worth it it will be when you get them off!!

If he is that shallow that he'd go off you when you are wearing a brace then he is not worth having.
Do you really have that little faith in your relationship?
If you think he's that pathetic and horrible then really he would be doing you a favour by leaving.
