 You poor thing. Listen, you absolutely don't know that what you have got is the same as what your mum has - it could be something else. Have you got a nice doctor? Maybe a lady doctor? You need to go to the docs and let them have a look at this lump, and check what it is. It might be nothing, but you need to know.
It must be so scary, your mum being ill, and you thinking maybe you too are ill - but there is a very very very strong chance you aren't actually ill, because you are really young, and skin cancer usually happens later, as a result of over exposure to the sun.
Please go and get it checked - and better to do it now, to be safe and sure. Just do it, and please do send me an email if you need more help. Don't worry - there are so many people out here who will help and support you. You aren't alone. It will be OK
