writes:im 8 wks pregnant with my first child...i recently got married to my high school sweetheart in sept of 08..been together since 06recently he is being really mean and calling me nameslazy..etcand constanstly putting me down and cussing at me i tryed telling him the first trimester is the roughest until labor..i admit i sleep alot and dnt do much but im pregnant helloooo!!!!i live in cali and have no family here i need helppppp?!?!?will he ever change? mommie 2 be is verified as being by the original poster of the question steve i try to involve him in the pregnancy..but im only 8weeks and hardly showing yet..i have him rub lotion for my strecthies lol but he says im only doing it for myself cause i only care bout my body and not the baby omggg im going crazy...first the 2 weeks i couldnt even keep nothing down thats how bad my morning sickness was..and he accused of not eating cause i didnt want the baby ..omg he so crazy and its making me stress annd i dont want tnothing to happen to the baby if i keep stressing

mommie 2 be is verified as being by the original poster of the questionthanks for all the advice...for the past 2 years ive put up with alot from him..and i always have dinner ready for him everyday when he gets home..i just cant do it anymore due to im always tired..i told him if he doesnt change im leaving to florida to be with my family and around some respect..he answered me"im sorry imma try to keep my cool when u treat me like shit" i think it was very inappropriate..i told him im pregnant they ae called mood swings..we all get em...my last word was if you cant respect me as a woman or as ur wife why stick around to find out if u can respect as the mother of your kids

He may change he may not.
He will only change if you give him a really big kick up the bum.
Next time he shouts at you or calls you a name just tell him you are pregnant and do not have to put up with this kind of behaviour. Tell him that you are going to visit family and leave the state.
After a few days alone he may realise that he's been a complete jerk and beg you to come home on the promise that he will change.
If he doesn't then you will know that you have saved yourself a lot of hassle and you can spend the rest of your pregnancy safe and well looked after in your home state.
