So I really suggest that you dont dare try to do anything. Like flirt with him or any of the sort to get his attention and like you. And like someone said already teacher + student = never. One might say what's wrong with that. For a start you have a professional relationship and not as equals. He's your superior. Someone could probably better expound on this.
And also I myself would not respect a man who takes advantage of a young and innocent girl; I will not respect myself if i did that.
But you're in love with him. Well you can't prevent it. One and half year already you say and even dream of him. And obviously i dont think you cant do anything about it. And your in love.
There are also probably other boys of the same age group in your school. Maybe one of them dreams of you as well.

 Good thing to do is stop thinking about him. I fell in love with my teacher and I dreamed about it almost every night. But it's only a fantasy right? Teacher and student is a never. Reality is reality. It hurts if you avoid him. I know because I went through that. Don't worry too much. I still do love that teacher but me and him is gunna be a never. I'm avoiding him and I'm starting to feel much better. Hangout more with guys or your friends. It'll help.
