writes:Hi- I have been struggling back and forth every day as to what to do about my situation. It's all I think about all the time and I need some answers.Heres the down low- I've been really good friends with this guy for about 3 or 4 years, I've always considered him one of my best friends. He lives really far away, went to visit him, and we realized we really like each other. Then about a month later we got to spend an entire month together. Im going out to see him again at the end of the month for about a week. We also talk all the time via phone etc, even though that really sucks sometimes.Im in love with him. I have an open summer and possibly want to spend it with him but I dont know how to bring it up? Also- we have agreed that we arent officially dating... but of course I want to. I don't know what to do- advice about any of these subjects would really help me out.thank you

You already know he likes you back, its reciprocated and im sure if the moment is right under the summer stars you could simply say: 'I think im falling for you. I love you [Name].' I'm sure if he's a great guy he will return it in his actions or even in his words. Although, actions "never" speak louder than words even though the cliche begs to differ. If he does not say it sooner or later your heart will long for him to say those words as the relationship progresses. but im sure based on what you said, I think he may love you too ;)

reader, anonymous, writes (1 February 2010): well if you are in love with him he must (yes i am sure) he has feeling for you also. I wouldnt just say I LOVE YOU, cause that's weird for friends. Move the relationship up. He is most likely with you only anyway so he wont mind. I think it should come naturally personally. and if it happens just out of no where then so be it just. he wont mind trust me just dont force it
