But her boyfriend is getting jealous cuz were always talking about stuff, that he shouldnt really know, and my friend comes to me when she has probs with her boyfriend, so i can tell he feels threteaned, but HELLO! he shouldn't! i'm gay! and her boyfriends really cool, we hang out sometimes, and he's really nice, i dont want to be the reason he feels uncomfortable, i mean my friend and i are just gal-pals! thats all! so what do i do? i want him to feel assured that my friend and i are just great friends and that i wouldnt i mean i really wouldnt go for his girlfriend!

reader, anonymous, writes (20 March 2009): Maybe hes not jealous of a sexual relationship forming but your talking is taking up to much time out of there relationship.Your taking there time away and he sees you as a threat of making there relationship falling apart.

This is a typical boy thing to do, any guy that your girlfriend is close to is a threat until proven otherwise, and I'm guessing you don't have a boyfriend at the moment?
Young straight guys sometimes don't realise that gay is gay, and until they see you with your boyfriend think that being gay is a cover up for moving in on their patch.
Have you tried having a man to man conversation with him and just tell him that you are gay and he has nothing to worry about.
