If there is definite chemistry, why no follow up communication to the initial meeting?

A female United States age , anonymous writes:

If there is definite chemistry between a man and a woman, why would the man back off? What causes a man to feel scared or is it some other emotion?

After nearly 8 months of communicating albeit online, on phone, texting, whatever, the day came to finally meet one another face to face. The chemistry was dynamic and apparent. Then after spending the evening together having a wonderful time, there has been no communication whatsoever. This makes no sense to me. I've texted, and left a voicemail but without a reply. What's up with this behavior? I'm confused.

Starlights agony auntHi there!

initially before you meet someone (and communicating via phone , net) its a "safety" net, you dont normally show one another your bad side, you tend to show the good sides of your character and thus that attraction is formed.

Once you meet however, you realise that (or the other person realises) there is no chemistry whatsoever. If a guy doesnt return your texts or calls he simply isnt that into you. maybe you felt the chemistry but unfortunately he did not.

I sense your keen to meet someone special but to be honest, stop looking! you cant force chemistry/ love to happen, when your ready and acting less desperate to the universe it will send in the right person who feels that chemistry for you too.

trust me
