Ideas to raise money for skin removal surgery

Question - (8 November 2015) 1 Answers - (Newest, 8 November 2015)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm a young woman who has lost a little over 200 pounds over the last few years.

The frustrating and sad part is I have a lot of loose skin that's very bothersome.

I was hopeful and even excited to talk with my doctor and a surgeon in the area about my journey and to ask them about a future surgery to remove this skin, only to be told my insurance would not cover anything, and that its going to be way out of my budget.

I already have a full time job, but can't put much money away for the surgey.

I'm not one to ask for help, especially help with money so I feel weird, but this may be the only way to ever get this done.

I have no idea how I can raise money or even where to start. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I will keep in touch, thanks to everyone.

Aunty BimBim agony auntI saw a video on facebook earlier today of a young man who had lost a huge amount of weight, he was asking for help for skin removal on gofundme. You would get more help if you are willing to post some before and after pics, but it might be an option to pursue.

Congratulations on the weight loss and good luck!
