 How about going over and saying How about we have a chat away from myspace, and see what he says. Kind of like an icebreaker there. After that you may find that the chatter just flows from you both.

how about saying, hi, my name is ..... Ive seen you playing volley ball and think your really good. Be nice to chat sometime. If he knows who you are then fine, I bet he responds to that its calme friendly and casual.
