I want to move on...I really do...but how do I come out of this?

Question - (9 December 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 9 December 2009)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I broke up with my boyfriend a few months back, because of a few problems we had.

Its been months, but I still love him. I miss him a lot. I cry all the time just thinking of all the times we spent together. I was so happy with him. I never felt that way with any of my previous boyfriends. I used to think, we will last forever, but I guess he didn't feel that way.

He does text me sometimes, just goodnight texts mostly. Nothing more. Why would he do that? I just don't know.

I am all mixed up inside, all my dreams of the two of us has come crashing down. I feel so helpless. I just wanted to write this down. I hope some of you can say a few words? How do I come out of this. I want to forget him and move on. I really do.

He cares enough about you to make sure you are ok at the end of the day. If that's how it is for a while then that's just how it is. I will assume he knows how you feel.. but if not tell him. Maybe it will make you happy again. Some wound will bleed for a while but they do heal.
